Dear Norma,
Since you are occupying only one side of the house, the centrepoint should be taken only on your side of the house.
As for the breadwinner, although both roughly earn the same salary, with regards to Feng Shui, usually, if this is the case, the `male' or your husband should be taken as the breadwinner.
